"Red Medium"

The Broward Art Guild had a challenge called "Red." It's not one of my favorite colors, so I became engrossed in working with it. I created three products: "Light Red", this "Red Medium" and "Dark Red" -- all wearable art. 

This piece is made with a porcelain face I created in the pottery studio from a mold, then painted with Rub-n-Buff(TM). It's glued to a beading background and then the fun started! Swarovski crystals for the crystal ball; Swarovski stars; Japanese seed beads; a little bit of material; a lot of tender beading care, all finished off with a suede backing and some layers of chain.

The "Red Medium" is not for sale (I had to show a price for the website) but I'd be happy to talk to you about creating something similar on special order.
